Maybe they're about awareness. Since hitting the breaks on social obligations, during the COVID pandemic, there has been an increase in time to experiment. I had a desire for new forms, new ways to work on the translucent supports I love. Ways to optically mix colors yet keep them from physically touching developed. Purposely creating spacially ambiguous places for shapes and colors to exist on a surface that is responsive to the light in the environment it is in. I'm interested in the conversation between the forms. The panels capture an interplay of reflection and shadow.
